Before founded FUSION, Debbie was a Partner in Suryomurcito & Co (Rouse International’s Partner in Indonesia) where she leaded the Dispute Resolution Team.

She was a lead counsel in patent revocation cases and some of the major bad faith trademark squatter litigation.

Trademark Infringement Lawsuit

• Lawsuit against unlawful use of 3-STRIPES mark by Zul Achyar.
• Successfully defended the Defendant in lawsuit against the alleged unlawful use of MOTORRAD mark.

Patent Invalidation Lawsuit

• Successfully defended winning First Instance decision in Patent Invalidation Lawsuit against PT Toilon Indonesia's Patent.

Prior to Suryomurcito & Co, Debbie also gained exposure serving international clients with another regional IP firm Mirandah Asia.

She has gained experience in the full sphere spectrum IP law practice from complex litigation to process driven prosecution works as well as transactional IP.

As the Deputy of Secretary-General of Indonesian IP Attorneys Association, she is the forefront of law reform.

Debbie is admitted as an Indonesian Advocate following her law degree from Padjadjaran University, one of the several prestigious Indonesian University. She is a registered IP Attorney and Plant Varieties Protection Consultant in Indonesia. She is as one of ten Domain Name Panellist at Indonesian Domain Name Registry (PANDI).
