Copyright which protects literary, artistic and musical work is regulated by Law No. 28 of 2014.
Protected works includes drawings, computer program, musical composition.
Duration of protection is usually lifetime of the author plus 75 years.
Although copyright protection arises without registration; registration is still important as proof of ownership with the Recordal Certificate. A certificate is a good psychological tool against infringer.
In cases where the industrial design protection is not available because it is too late to apply for industrial design registration, one option is to consider copyright protection which we can advise on.
